Terms has been agreed and Sulley Muntari is expected to join Saudi Arabia side, Al-Ittihad on a two year deal for €14 million for the next chapter of his career.
He will have his medicals today to finalise the move. The 30-year-old was released from his AC Milan last month, despite still having a year to run on his deal.
Al-Ittihad are also reportedly also trying to bring Muntari’s compatriot, Kevin-Prince Boateng to Jeddah, as they continue to negotiate with the now former Schalke 04 player. Al Ittihad could feature the two Ghanaian midfielders who played together at Milan in the near future if they secure Boateng.
