In a chat with the magazine’s editor Jackie May, the 28-year-old said, “I have encountered the worst. The very worst”, in reference to her relationships.
Bonang talked about the good, the bad and the ugly of her life in a never-before-shared interview.
She also discussed about her past love affair with South African hip hop artist AKA and her career – which she said is the most important thing to her right now.
The South African Revlon global ambassador quipped, “In this industry, nobody cares if you’re having a bad day. The show must go on. You have to be professional. You have to be flawless. We booked you.”
On her previous relationships, Bonang Matheba revealed she had received her own fair share of bad loves and heartbreak as well as spiteful comments from people on social media.
“I have gone through the worst pain: an ex-boyfriend having a child with someone else during our relationship. Being beaten. Being cheated on. Being embarrassed on social media numerous times. Everything you can imagine and then some more.”
“I have mastered the art of silence. I am not combative. I don’t enjoy arguments. I don’t like to fight. I am a very peaceful soul,” the star concluded.
