The Black Stars have been kicked two places down in the latest Fifa Ranking for the month of March released on Thursday, April 6.
The Black Stars are now ranked 45th in the world but still remained eighth in Africa as FIFA took into account 129 games played.
On the African continent Ghana are now eighth, behind Egypt, Senegal, Cameroon and Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Congo DR and Tunisia
Meanwhile, Brazil capped off a fine fortnight of football as they moved to the top of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, reclaiming their seat at the top of the podium after a seven-year hiatus.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 4 May 2017.
