"I can get insecure sometimes, I can doubt myself" – Ade Laoye talks fears.
Nollywood actress, Ade Laoye, recently had an interesting conversation with Pulse Nigeria, where she spoke about her career.
The actress who moved back to Nigeria in 2012, has featured in several TV series, movies and stage productions.
Speaking during the interview, the actress shared her fears an individual.
“I can get insecure sometimes, I can doubt myself,” the actress started.
“This is an industry where you are often judged on things that are outside your control. You often judged on your looks. You’re often judged by people’s perception of you, which may or may not be true.”
According to the actress, her greatest fear is allowing self doubt get to her. “So, there are many things that you just can’t control. So, I think it’s not allowing those things to get into your mind,” Laoye added.
The actress, who has performed with prestigious theatres such as The Arden Theater Company, spoke on the difference between working in Nigeria and abroad.
Popular for her role as Oye Agunabiade in “Hush,” Laoye also shared how she gets into character as an actress, what an award means to her as a creative among other interesting topics.
Laoye also shared some of her upcoming projects, which includes a role in the upcoming Kunle Afolayan film, “Tribunal.”
